Aaron Jordan
2023-2024 Board of Directors
Aaron Jordan is a man of many talents and passions, hailing from the vibrant city of Louisville, Kentucky. With a natural flair for music, he honed his skills as a drummer and rose to the rank of section leader during his time at Louisville Central High School, leading the charge to bring back the storied Stingettes majorette team after their long hiatus. His passion for music took him to Tennessee State University, where he earned a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and sharpened his marketing savvy while working as a college marketing representative for Sony Music Entertainment. During his time with Sony, Aaron built relationships with music industry giants in Nashville, New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, working closely with labels such as Columbia, Epic, and RCA. As a songwriter, drummer, producer, and artist, Aaron also honed his creative skills and quickly became a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. His talents were further honed during an internship at the legendary Tree Sound Studio in Atlanta, where he worked for a year, learning from some of the biggest names in the game. But Aaron's interests and passions extended far beyond music. He quickly became a prominent figure during the civil unrest that rocked the nation during the Breonna Taylor movement. In that time, he founded not one, but two companies in his hometown of Louisville: Black Complex Louisville, a coworking space and members community for entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals; and the Louisville Juneteenth Festival, which celebrates culture, heritage, freedom, and excellence. With his infectious energy, unwavering commitment to his community, and boundless creative spirit, Aaron Jordan is a force to be reckoned with. He continues to inspire and uplift those around him, reminding us all that with passion, dedication, and hard work, anything is possible.
