Mentorship

​

We're always seeking mentors to provide athletic training, advice, stories of encouragement, and other resources within our students' interests. Mentors have the option to share words of wisdom with groups of our students or to work closely with an individual student to ensure he or she is working towards their personal goals. Our students rely on our mentors to instill values of perseverance, resilience, initiative, discipline and empathy. To make a recommendation or to apply for mentorship, please click below.

Volunteering

We're always seeking volunteers to help with tutoring, leading activities, supervising events, chaperoning trips, and more. Whatever your talent or time constraints, we have a way you can add to 1+1=U! Click below to submit a volunteer application online.

Partnership and Sponsorship

Every year, we partner with various JCPS schools, recreational teams, local businesses, and community organizations to maximize our footprint and provide specialized resources to each of our students.
